Senior Project Manager Market Research / Organizational Research
in the Consulting department of our head office in Hürth, Cologne. The ideal candidate will have an enthusiastic and professional approach to implementing online questionnaires with our software solutions for web-based feedback processes in customer projects.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead major projects and support our customers. You will take a target-oriented, independent approach to managing projects from the offer phase to implementation and the presentation of results. You will also be proactive in developing and promoting your area of responsibility.
You will welcome the opportunity to work independently and use your own initiative as part of an interdisciplinary team and in cooperation with international customers. Your enthusiasm for online research and your dedication will play a key role in the ongoing development of our expanding company.
Your duties will include:
- Responsibility for the planning, implementation, coordination and controlling of major national and international projects
- Advising, supporting, supervising and managing the internal staff and external customers involved in the project
- Leading projects as the contact for the customers and teams under your supervision throughout every stage of the project
- Advising customers, maintaining and expanding customer relationships
- Participation in the ongoing development of our research tools
- Hold a degree in economics/social sciences
- Have at least 5 years professional experience in market research or consulting, with at least 1 year spent supervising complex projects in a managerial capacity
- Demonstrate proven knowledge of the methods and tools used in market research
- Demonstrate proven knowledge of project management and methodology
- Ideally demonstrate experience of project managing employee surveys
- Have an excellent knowledge of German and English for both day-to-day communication and formal business situations
- Enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams
- Be interested in expanding online research
- Have an analytical mind and outstanding organizational skills
- Be highly target-focused and able to work well under pressure
- Have a positive attitude, the ability to use his/her initiative, empathy and patience with others and excellent communication skills

- Help design innovative, modular questionnaire systems.
- Carry out the field phase for complex online market research projects.
- Implement online questionnaires in the appropriate medium and improve their usability with regards to language and design.
- Use your market research experience to conduct complex studies into advertising impact and consumer tracking.
- Perform statistical evaluations using advanced analytical methods with SPSS software, and present them in an attractive and informative manner.
- Help develop Globalpark products and our portfolio of methods.
- Degree in sociology, psychology, media or communication studies.
- At least two years’ work experience in market research, ideally at an institute or branded goods company.
- Very good understanding of quantitative market research.
- Excellent PC skills (MS Office and SPSS).
- An advantage but not essential: Knowledge of HTML, Excel macro programming / VBA.
- Very good analytical skills, with a head for figures and an active interest in online market research.
- An understanding of the requirements and challenges in the advertising and FMCG markets.

Our Software Development department has a vacancy for a
PHP web developer with an interest in dealing with abstract issues
The “EFS Employee” and “EFS Leadership” product lines are used in the organization and implementation of worldwide employee surveys and 360-degree feedback surveys. The HR team in the Standard Software Development section deals with the specialist and technical development of these product lines and is seeking a new member. As a developer, you will be responsible for the technical design and implementation of new features. If you demonstrate the appropriate interest and abilities, we will offer you the opportunity to undertake project management tasks.
As well as the developers and technical project managers, the Development department also includes the Product Development/Content Design, Technical Documentation and Quality Assurance sections, so our day-to-day operations call for an interdisciplinary approach. We integrate national and international clients into our projects regularly and as early in the process as possible (EVO approach) and generally prefer dynamic approaches to software development.
- You will have successfully completed a degree course or training in information technology and have 2 – 3 years of practical experience in web programming.
- Our core technology is PHP in a LAMP environment. You will have a very good understanding of object-oriented programming and excellent knowledge of PHP5, or be able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of another web technology and are prepared to learn PHP rapidly.
- You enjoy finding solutions to abstract issues and turning complex processes and facts into software that is easy to use, reliable and performs well.

Web Developer/Project Manager in market research
in the Development department of our head office in Hürth, Cologne.
Globalpark produces standard software for online market research. We adapt the software to customers’ specific needs, add e.g. innovative new features and create interfaces to other systems. With the support of a project manager who deals with content, you will be responsible for the analysis of customer needs, customer consulting, development of implementation concepts and technical reviews. You will also spend approximately half your working time supporting our customizing team with project implementation and programming. The main technical focal point of your work will be LAMP applications and, depending on your interests and skills, you will also be involved in areas related to .NET (C#), VB and system administration (e.g. encryption protocols).
- You have several years’ experience of developing web software and are familiar with the technical and organizational measures required to complete projects successfully.
