Enterprise Feedback Suite gets new release
New, innovative features for all software products
With the release of version 6 of the Enterprise Feedback Suite, Globalpark is further enhancing its software products for Market Research, Human Resources, Marketing and Customer Relationship Management. The release date is scheduled for September 2008 and the upgrade is free of charge for licensed customers.
Fully-integrated Flash question types for eye-catching surveys
A set of Flash-based question types is one excellent example of the innovations featured in the new release. They allow users to integrate visually engaging question types into their online surveys with just a click of the mouse. In addition to single and multiple choice options, matrix question types and open answer options can be created using three appealing Flash designs. The question types are fully integrated into the system architecture and no technical modifications are required. They are based on Globalpark’s development philosophy of combining user-friendliness with optimum flexibility. Consequently, users can change the format and content of the question types as required. What’s more, the open development architecture enables more advanced users to develop their own Flash-based question types which can also be fully integrated into the software. As many survey participants have called for greater variety in questionnaire design, this functionality now enables Globalpark clients to create engaging surveys and thus respond quickly and efficiently to these requests.
Intensifying customer communication
A new user interface which optimizes usability has also been introduced. For the first time, users will also have the option of commenting on functionality in the software directly and offering suggestions for improvement.
The new look and content of Globalpark’s Customer Center web site is designed to share information as well as gather opinions and suggestions from our clients. In addition to downloads, practical tips and extensive background information on the use of Globalpark’s software products, the web site also provides Globalpark’s user community with a structured overview of methodological information and news from the online feedback sector.
EFS Translator Interface – efficient management for multilingual data collection projects
Globalpark clients who conduct multilingual data collection projects often rely on at least one specialized translation service. The new release provides clients with an optional “EFS Translator Interface” to boost the efficiency of such translation processes and allow service providers to work directly within the Enterprise Feedback Suite. They can export texts, allowing them to work with their own software, import translations and carry out final corrections – tasks that would previously have fallen to the project manager. At the same time, access to other language versions and software administration is restricted to avoid the risk of translators accidentally altering the original questionnaire and its structure.
High-security mode – focus on data security
The new Globalpark release also incorporates an optional high-security mode for its products which supplements the company’s tried-and-tested security measures with extra features against unauthorized access. The high-security mode combines the convenience of web-based access to Globalpark’s software solutions independent of time and place with maximum data security.
EFS Panel – effective tools for improved panel quality
In addition to developments affecting all the products in the Enterprise Feedback Suite, the individual software solutions have also been revised and enhanced. In EFS Panel (the software for managing online panels and conducting surveys), for example, the functions for ensuring panel quality have been significantly extended. In conjunction with a real-time overview of panel distribution, the procedure for measuring panelists’ behavior in surveys and automated checks to prevent multiple registration of participants have been updated to comply with even the most demanding standards. Globalpark assures all customers operating with EFS 6.0 that the software meets the quality criteria of the European Society for Opinion and Marketing Research (ESOMAR).
Globalpark is responding to a much discussed topic in the market research industry by offering its customers the best possible insight into the quality and composition of their panels. Real-time evaluation checks enable panel operators to demonstrate the quality of their panel to third parties using defined criteria.
With the release of version 6, Globalpark is also granting panel operators access to a fully integrated Community Forum that can be used to initiate and moderate discussions between panelists. Not only does this give operators a further opportunity to gain insights from their panels, it also reinforces the panelists’ loyalty to the platform.
What’s more, the new release of EFS Panel includes a new function to make panel administration far easier. In the latest version, panel operators can use an automated process to check the complete configuration of their panel. This ensures that all the key functions of the panel are operating flawlessly at all times.
EFS Employee – new opportunities for web-based employee surveys
EFS Employee (Globalpark’s software for planning and conducting employee surveys) also boasts innovative developments. EFS Employee can now save details of employees’ positions within the company hierarchy of matrix organizations. This innovation accommodates the needs of companies in which employees and managers operate within varying hierarchies or where individuals occupy a number of different roles. Despite the complexity of their organizational structure, such companies will now be in a position to lay the foundations for the automated generation and distribution of results reports.
International employee surveys are also often run by large, decentralized project teams.
The release of version 6 introduces a new organizational function in EFS Employee which supports effective cooperation between such teams by using the software to map the process phases of an employee survey project. This allows tasks for project teams and employees to be defined in EFS Employee. The scope of the software can be adjusted according to the particular situation and restricted to the functions used in each specific process phase. Mapping the process phases improves communication between project teams and further increases the efficiency of employee surveys undertaken with EFS Employee.
EFS Survey – boosting efficiency in the planning and implementation of survey projects
EFS Survey, Globalpark’s software for planning, implementation and evaluation of online surveys, now offers new functions for even greater efficiency. For example, the bulk editing function of version 6 makes it possible to alter collected datasets in the participant management function in just one single step.
In addition to transferring individual questions, the new copy function for questionnaires allows entire blocks of content to be copied from project to project, while also retaining all administrative and functional settings.
Newly developed export macros allow export datasets to be generated automatically. These can then be made available to interested parties on a software platform at flexible intervals. This function is geared particularly towards Globalpark customers who wish to issue automated raw data results to their own internal and external customers on a regular basis.
