EFS Mobile Extension for conducting mobile surveys
EFS Mobile Extension lets you conduct surveys on mobile phones, PDA’s and Smart phones like IPhone, Blackberry and Android. This is especially useful to:
Research topics connected to mobile internet, e.g. to evaluate your mobile website or the effects of mobile advertising
Capture feedback “in the moment”, e.g. at events or point-of-sale locations
Gain access to, and high response rates from, audiences you might otherwise miss
EFS Mobile Extension does the work for you
The basic concept of EFS Mobile Extension is easy: The Extension optimizes surveys to be accessible and visible on the small displays of mobile devices.
Surveys are delivered in two dialects: WML for use on older devices, and XHTML-MP standard to reach those on modern devices. As such, all surveys will be displayed appropriately to the particular device, without your having to know which device is being used.
Single source, multi source and text questions can be displayed effectively on mobiles. As matrix questions are typically too wide on small displays, EFS Mobile Extension automatically adjusts the questions to avoid vertical scrolling. You can also use pictures on your mobile surveys, and adjust the layout according to your corporate identity.
There are three ways to invite participation: e-mail, regular SMS or WAP-Push-SMS. Advantage of the latter is that a clickable link is displayed even on older devices. All of this is set up, as usual, through the web-based EFS questionnaire editor, which activates EFS Mobile Extension to deliver the projects according to the participant’s mobile device.
