Are you open to a new, highly interesting role, but wonder what challenges and development opportunities a career with Globalpark might offer you? We spoke to one of our employees about her work:
Question: What do you find particularly exciting about your job as a consultant for Globalpark?
Anja Clessienne, Project Manager Int. Employee Surveys since 2006: “For me it’s the moment when a customer’s managers start to work with survey results when I have been responsible for the accuracy of their acquisition and analysis. In most cases I will have been working for many months towards this moment. I often look after surveys with up to 50,000 participants. If, after such a major project, I receive positive feedback on my work from the personnel manager of a company, it gives me a real boost. I also consider it to be very important that my clients trust me as their project manager for international employee surveys. It is also exciting to gain an insight into the changes that may have been made as a result of an employee survey.”
Question: What is the role of Globalpark’s software products in the implementation of your projects?
Anja Clessienne: “Employee surveys are complex projects in which the actual online survey is only part of the story. First of all we usually analyse the client’s processes from the point of view of technical implementation. On this basis we adapt our software platform to their requirements, so that the survey can be carried out in the most effective and efficient way. Finally I support clients in carrying out the survey and by training them, I enable clients to work with the platform without my assistance.
We at Globalpark were there at the beginning of online market research. Our products are highly specialised and support most processes. However, methodical specialist knowledge that our consultants have gained over the years is often essential for complex projects.”
Question: What development or ongoing training is available at Globalpark?
Anja Clessienne: “After studying economics, I began an internship with Globalpark in the Consulting division. I then had the opportunity to take part in an internal trainee programme. This is not an unusual course of events at Globalpark. During my trainee period I was already involved in multinational projects and was able to obtain further specialist qualifications very quickly. As project assistant, I was soon given responsibility of my own. Once I had become familiar with the job working on the first project, I was responsible for implementation of the very next one, so I was eased into the deep end, so to speak, and I think that this approach has paid off. Nowadays I lead group-wide employee surveys. I am responsible for time and resources planning and deadline and success monitoring. I also organise and lead project meetings, work out implementation concepts for implementing questionnaires and evaluations and advise clients over the course of individual project phases.”
